New Epstein Files Drop – Lawmakers Just Saw Stuff That Changes Everything

I’ve been glued to this story all day. Under the 2025 Epstein Files Transparency Act, a handful of congress members (including Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna) finally got into a secure room and read heavily less-redacted versions of more than 3.5 million DOJ pages.
What they found is wild.
An FBI file straight-up ties Les Wexner to child sex trafficking. That’s the same Wexner who built Victoria’s Secret and was Epstein’s biggest known benefactor for years.
There’s also a note where Epstein himself raved about a torture video connected to the UAE businessman Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem. Not exactly dinner-table conversation.
Then there’s this bit that stopped me cold: early on, Donald Trump called the police and told them Ghislaine Maxwell was “evil.” That tip is now in the files.
Steve Bannon’s name pops up too, with mentions of coordination between him and Epstein.
And get this: some lawmakers are now openly calling for Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick to resign because of what they saw.
The frustration in the room was real. They say the remaining black bars still protect “powerful figures,” while the DOJ keeps insisting every redaction is there to shield victims. Both sides can’t be completely right, and right now nobody outside that secure room knows the full picture.
It feels like every new batch of these files peels back another layer and shows how deep the connections went. I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted and fascinated at the same time.
If more pages get released (or if these lawmakers start talking publicly), I’ll be back with an update. In the meantime, what stood out to you the most from this round?
Let me know what you think.
